Every repair we perform is backed by our 90-day parts and labor warranty. We stand behind our work — if something goes wrong with the repair itself, we'll make it right at no charge. Excludes physical damage, liquid damage, and misuse after repair.

At SONAN TECH, we use quality replacement parts and skilled technicians on every repair. Our 90-day warranty gives you peace of mind that if the repaired component fails due to a defect in the part or our workmanship within 90 days of your repair, we will fix it at no additional charge.

What's Covered and What's Not

✅ Covered by Warranty

  • Defective replacement parts (screens, batteries, ports)
  • Workmanship errors made during the repair
  • Screen failing due to part defect (not new physical damage)
  • Battery not holding charge due to a defective replacement cell
  • Charging port repair failing due to part or solder defect
  • Speaker or camera failing due to part defect
  • Any other component replaced by SONAN TECH that fails due to defect

❌ NOT Covered by Warranty

  • New physical damage (drops, cracks, dents) after repair
  • Liquid or water damage occurring after repair
  • Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the device
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair performed
  • Software issues, updates, or operating system errors
  • Accidental damage by the customer after pickup
  • Damage caused by unauthorized third-party repairs after ours
Note: The 90-day warranty period begins on the date of repair pickup. Warranty service requires the device to be brought back to our Willis, TX location for inspection. Warranty claims made after 90 days from the repair date will not be honored under this policy, though we will always do our best to assist you.

Contact us at (936) 314-9332 or walk in within 90 days of your repair. Let us know the original repair date and what issue you're experiencing.

Device Inspection
Our technician will inspect the device to determine whether the issue is covered under the warranty (defect in part/workmanship) or falls outside coverage (new damage).

Free Warranty Repair
If the issue is covered, we repair it at no charge. If it falls outside warranty (new damage, etc.), we'll give you a quote and explain the options clearly.

Warranty FAQs

How long is the warranty?

90 days from the date of repair pickup. If a defect in the replacement part or our workmanship causes an issue within that period, we'll fix it free of charge.

Do I need my receipt to claim the warranty?

We keep records of repairs. A receipt helps speed things up, but it is not strictly required. We can look up your repair by phone number or device details.

My screen was replaced and now has a spot — is that covered?

If the spot or display issue is caused by a defect in the replacement screen (not new physical impact or pressure damage), yes — that is covered. Bring it in and we'll inspect it.

I dropped my phone after the repair and the screen cracked again. Is that covered?

No. New physical damage caused by drops or impacts after the repair is not covered by the warranty. The warranty covers part/workmanship defects, not new damage.

My battery was replaced but it's draining fast — is that covered?

Yes, if the battery drain is caused by the replacement cell being defective. Bring it in within 90 days and we'll test the battery and replace it if it's defective at no charge.

Does the warranty cover software issues?

No. The warranty covers hardware repairs only. Software issues, operating system updates, app errors, and data loss are not covered by the repair warranty.

What if another repair shop worked on my phone after SONAN TECH?

The warranty is void if another party has opened or attempted repairs on the device after we serviced it. We cannot be responsible for issues caused by third-party work.

I'm past 90 days but the part still seems defective — can you help?

Our formal warranty is 90 days. After that period we cannot guarantee free warranty service, but we always encourage you to come in and talk to us — we'll do our best to work with you fairly.
